This is one of the first pieces I attempted using colored India Ink Markers on while Claybord. That is the substrate for the traditional black Scratchboard. It only comes in 48 colors and to blend one must erase a some of the 100% pigment and then cover it with more transparent pigment of the color to be added. It is very complicated and I do not think I can teach this method to anyone. I love the results and will do more. The reference photos for this work were from our helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon and these two greeted us when we sat the chopper down for our breakfast Champagne.
