If you are looking for cute shops and antiques, they can be found on the Square in LaGrange, or 30 minutes away in Round Top. There are Wineries both north and south of here within a half-hour drive and a Meadery to boot. Rumors have it that a distillery is being planned in town and has been approved. Painted Churches offer historical architecture. Lake Fayette offers great Bass fishing ( so does Lake George on our property)

Tree house inside
This garage apartment has a full kitchen with a glamorous bathroom and a huge closet for starters. The 45" tv is on a roller stand so may be plugged in anywhere in the apartment for streaming. Around the Tree House
Nature is in abundance when you relax on the deck for breakfast coffee or evening relaxation. George feeds the white-tail deer herd we care for under our wildlife exemption every day at 5:00 in the evening. Sometimes the wild turkeys come to eat as well. The bird species are amazing, from cardinals to wrens and doves plus bluebirds and blue jays, chickadees, and on and on. drive to the rear of the garage and park by the staircase (well-lit at night). MAXWELLS HOUSE EXTERIOR
Tucked into the trees and off the road this cozy home has plenty of room to entertain, inside and out. A two-car garage also comes with a built-in safe. The yard is on a sprinkler system connected to a well as is the raised bed garden. A storage shed right by the garden is great for any tools and pots. The circular drive has plenty of guest parking. The pasture land will be maintained by the owner. The owner also feeds deer and turkey behind the residence so you will be blessed with sightings daily. True peaceful bliss.

MAXWELLS HOUSE INTERIOR
You will feel at home immediately in this Santa Fe/Colorado Mountain cabin-style home. Saltillo tile and porcelain tile keep the maintenance down. A two-sided wood-burning fireplace creates a nice ambiance. The kitchen was recently remodeled and the laundry is conveniently located at the end along with a pantry. The master bedroom suite features a Jacuzzi tub and shower, as well as its own fireplace. Ample space for a sitting area is on the west end. A second bedroom also has its own ensuite bathroom that doubles as the guest bath. The library can be used as an office/computer room or a full bedroom with a twin bed or trundle bed. Both main bedrooms have walk-in closets. two sets of French doors offer light and views as well as outdoor access. The dining room has so many windows you will feel like you are eating al fresco!
